Jon Peppin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with degrees in accounting and economics and a minor in Chinese languages. After college, Jon earned a distinguished educator award while working as an elementary school teacher of 3rd and 4th grade students.

He soon blended his passion for teaching and passion for music and became a full-time music instructor, teaching guitar and music theory to high school students in underserved communities in Los Angeles. His students performed in groups quarterly.

As a native Texan from Fort Worth, Jon soon found himself back in our great state and now teaches private music lessons full-time. He shows his excitement of teaching music by incorporating games into his lessons to make learning music fun for students of all ages.

In addition to guitar, Jon also teaches bass guitar, ukulele, and plays keyboard.
