Tess Mosley is from Belton, Texas, and music has been her favorite part of life since she was a child. She dove head-first into her singing journey in high school, taking choir classes, private voice lessons, show choir, and performing in musicals. She received a vocal scholarship to Oklahoma Christian University, where she graduated with a Bachelor degree in Vocal Music Education. During her studies, she enjoyed being cast in various musicals and productions, including her first operatic roles. After graduation, Tess taught music in public schools, and has been teaching private voice and piano for four years. Tess loves teaching, and her students inspire her to be better each day! She is excited to teach at Pfluger Rock!
Tess‘s teaching style focuses on proper pedagogy and technique, applying best practices to classical repertoire, as well as musical theater, and even commercial/pop styles. She emphasizes proper technique and vocal health for each avenue and genre her students’ wish to explore, equipping them with technique that will serve them throughout their studies and beyond.
